Streetshots caught on film

A few weeks ago, I borrowed a friend's Leica Minilux (point-and-shoot) film camera.  Put in a roll of Ilford FP4 and hit the streets of NYC.  Known for it's great optics and fast lens, it was no surprise to see the nice, sharp and contrasty images I was able to make.  I love street photography and the 40mm f/2.4 is just great for walking around.  That and the size and form of the camera doesn't scream PHOTOGRAPHER so folks are less put off it. Since returning my friend's Leica, I luckily found myself a Nikon 35ti and can't wait to see how it does. This photo set is from that day walking around town with the Leica.  I love how saturated the frames look and the nice and punchy contrast.
